Daily Duties at Piedmont Health Coalition, Inc.:
In this position, he provides the executive leadership in advising self-insured employers on contemporary issues facing employers. Responsibilities range from direct contracting with health systems, pharmacy benefit managers, third-party administrators, health information technology companies to educating employers and health care providers addressing financing, service and access issues. * Consulting on health benefit financial structures, developing strategies to effectively address the needs of affordable and high quality medical care for member employers. * Managing a budget of $47M for 11 accounts, developing partnerships with health service providers to ensure complete coverage. * Monitoring trends and gathering information on the marketplace to translate into strategies for success. * Developing and launching forums for payers and providers to constructively manage issues regarding healthcare financing, service and access.
