Analyzed invoices listed on audit work papers to determine tax status. Researched and updated Tax rules, regulation and rates for each audit. Initial audit contact for all sales and use tax audit. Analyzed and collected evidence of taxable and tax exempt items on purchases and sales for audit. Assembled documentation for auditors and review, and re-calculated audits to ensure accuracy. Helped coordinate settlements in Audit Assessment. Maintained appointment calendar and prepared correspondence with State Auditors from all U.S. locations.
