Daily Duties at Deloitte:

MANAGED TAX CONSULTANT PROJECT TEAMS – Managed teams of up to 5 Consultants and Interns per project; trained team on tax configuration in SAP, Sabrix, Vertex, project plan and proposal writing. • Instrumental in Tax Systems Integration – Assisted in integration of SAP and different bolt-on tax systems like Vertex, Sabrix and Taxware in one of the largest energy companies, one of the largest retail companies, and a major airline. Gathered tax data requirements and assisted with development of tax solution, design and gap analysis comparing data elements, functional requirements, SAP and Proliance interface. • Instrumental in Development, Execution & Documentation of Unit Testing – Assisted with unit testing and integration testing scenarios in SAP, Taxware, Vertex and Sabrix. Configured SAP as determined by design document and tax systems to make tax determination based on requirements. Worked in Vertex O series with SAP R/3 release 6.0 for transaction tax automation project. Assisted in drafting design and business requirements documents and drafting document to provide options available to make tax decision and tax categorization in Vertex. • Participated in Client Meetings – Participated in client meetings with key personnel in different groups to identify and document current processes as they relate to sales and use tax. Documented tax configuration in SAP. • Worked in Telecommunications Industry in Decommissioning of Legacy PeopleSoft 8.4 – Gathered tax data requirements for system decommission and developed tax requirements and gap analysis document by the process area.
