Daily Duties at Unisys:
Delivered Program Manager support for Federal Government and Private Industry customer IT initiatives. Managed the Solution Architecture, Database and Infrastructure team for engineering projects. Performed on-going PMO activities for delivery services and continuous quality control and assessment of development and operations. Applied knowledge of Earned Value Management to improve and report on customer processes features for critical applications. Provided acquisition support for services and supplies, including major system acquisitions, then executing the full life-cycle acquisition requirement. Programs managed were $50 to $800 million dollars. Use CMMI, ITIL, PMI Methodologies for project management control and SDLC documentation. Deploy base database management system that included web services and Oracle analytics Covert legacy applications to the new database environment Deploy Service Management policies and procedures for improved security, release and change management. Deploy new cloud based services for the General Services Administration (GSA). Develop a web services interface for common application data bus for $900 Million dollar month rent/lease billing process for GSA. Consolidate 28 Oracle database applications into one common database environment for efficiency and reduce the complexity of the monthly billing process. Install enterprise database tools for management, modeling and project tracking. Systems used: Oracle 10 & 11, SQL, Data warehousing, data security, JAVA, Oracle Linux, Oracle Solaris Deploy and upgrade new Microsoft server applications for Exchange, Microsoft Server, and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) for TSA. Perform email migration for 30,000 mailboxes in less than 3 weeks. Redesign and deployment of new TSA network environment. Perform Data Center Migration involving relocation and consolidation of 3 data centers. Build 100+ Microsoft Enterprise servers. Task also involved redesign of network infrastructure and security intrusion devices for server and network devices. Design and implement BMC ITSM Remedy 7.x Service Desk, Configuration and Change Management System for TASC
