Daily Duties at Rockwater Energy Solutions:

• IPO Readiness Project manager responsible for implementation of a COSO based framework for an Internal Control Environment in preparation of annual reporting on internal controls to comply with the Sarbanes Oxley Act (SOX). • Responsible for managing the successful application of the Internal Control Environment for the system conversions that were conducted as well as responsible for ensuring the process of consolidating the decentralized divisional accounting functions into a centralized function that would be compliant with SOX. • Sarbanes-Oxley Act responsibilities include preparing Process Narratives and the corresponding Risk Control Matrices as well as identifying key controls, conducting and reviewing tests of controls, then assist with remediation. Responsible for preparing, testing, and reviewing the Entity Level Controls and the Anti Fraud Program. Conduct regular meetings with Executive Management, Audit Committee, and external accountants. • Created internal audit department which included development of the Internal Audit Policies and Procedures and the Annual Internal Audit Plan (personnel and budget). • Met with the Audit Committee Members to address and discuss various items including the status of the SOX project. • Manage the Internal Audit Department - both personnel and budget as well as managing outside resources.
