Daily Duties at United States Air Force:

Lead and supervised 59 employees encompassing three eight-hour shifts in order to achieve a 24 hour munitions delivery support to 5 squadrons of attack aircraft, support aircraft and helicopters, and to the base Munitions Storage Area. Ensure the safe transport of an enormous variety of explosives and training munitions valued at over $42M. Ensure the quality and serviceability of the transportation equipment utilized is in compliance with Department of Defense, Air Force, Moody AFB, Squadron, and Flight regulations and policies. Responsible to continuously ensure all subordinates are fully training on the inspection and transportation of the munitions tasked to transport. Support base level disaster recovery and business continuity exercises consisting of mass casualty and mass destruction of resources and equipment. Responsible to act as the base and unit disaster recovery evaluator during exercises lasting up to 14 consecutive days 24/7. Ensure subordinates provide full customer support to all munitions using and maintaining customers. Ensure the munitions holding area explosive weight does not exceed the Department of Defense approved limits. Responsible for the use and serviceability of 25 tow vehicles. Responsible to utilize time management in order to effectively multitask a variety of challenges with a dedicated suspense time. Evaluated subordinates on a semiannual basis. Authored or reviewed annual performance reports on all employees. Authored or reviewed recognized achievements and awards for deserving subordinates. Detected and corrected deficient work practices through a variety of methods ranging from counseling to removal from active duty service. Coordinated and communicated schedules and work requirements with higher level supervision. Detect adverse morale trends and take the appropriate corrective actions. Maintained chain of command among subordinates and higher level managers. Responsible for physical security of the facility, vehicles, munitions, and all other resources. Responsible for the safety of all personnel regardless of the task assigned. Ensure all personnel use required safety gear such as gloves, hearing protection, and reflective belts. Responsible for the security of information. Responsible to ensure all personnel behave ethically and do not display bias, discrimination, sexual harassment or segregation: must act as a team! Monitor and maintain professional relationships among subordinates. Maintain customs and courtesy behavior among subordinates. Participate in promotion, decoration, award, and retirement ceremonies. Responsible to maintain physical fitness and to ensure subordinates also maintain physical fitness.
