Daily Duties at Beacon Hospice, Inc.:

Assure that state and federal regulatory compliance applicable to Hospice and reimbursement issues are followed. Educate all staff members about state and federal rules and regulations which include Medicare Conditions of Participation. I act as a liaison between staff, patients, physicians, and other health care providers. Continually monitor clinical management of staff and provide direction and redirection as necessary. Work with members of the medical community to promote hospice services within the home, assisted living facilities and skilled nursing facilities. Recruit, hire, orient, assign, evaluate, counsel and guide staff positions to meet agency and patient needs. Ensure delivery of quality care to patients/families, enhancement of business development by marketing hospice to the community and continuous improvement of agency efficiency and fiscal success.
