Global accountability for leading and directing strategic infrastructure direction, coordinating resources on 3 continents inclusive of third party providers. Develop technology roadmap that ensure the network is anticipating future business requirements that help maintain competitive advantage in the marketplace Accountable for all Infrastructure disciplines (Network, Datacenter, Telecommunications, Windows, Unix, Storage, Backup, DBA, Service Center and desktop support, mobile computing and audio/video communication) Responsible for identification and realization of (global) synergies and opportunities to cost effectively drive business improvements. Responsible for the strategic development and management of the North America region Data Network, Telecommunication, LAN and WAN infrastructure, Data Center Facility and server environment as well as End User Experience. Developed metrics for performance of network, as well as service to internal customers. Financial accountability for forecasting, developing and financial oversight of a $2M IT capital and $4M SG&A budget. Establish strategic partnerships that promote innovation and shared problem solving for emerging network issues. Design and implement network and telecom infrastructure to meet the growing needs of the business. Develop a Network business continuity plan. Develop a Network Disaster recovery plan. Responsible for 20 direct reports, (network engineers, Telecom engineers, Desktop support analyst, Financial Analyst, Server Engineers, Help Desk analyst, End User Supervisor, Data Center Operations supervisor). Environment - 3000 sq foot data center, 300 servers, Corporate Hub for data communications and Telecommunications. 3000 end users. Gigabit - Fiber backbone infrastructure. Responsible for contract negotiations with over 40 vendor, communication and service providers. Cisco environment, Dell Server and end user desktop and laptops. EMC storage HP Brocade Avaya telecommunications infrastructure (including VOIP) T1, Fiber, 100MG and Gigabit Wide area infrastructure.
