Daily Duties at Met Substation Test Company/Linc Facilities :
• Maintained cleanliness of all electrical distribution equipment and vaults • Installed, modified, troubleshoot, repaired, tested, maintained and operated high voltage • Use of high voltage dielectric testing of cablings, buss work, apparatus and vehicles • Assumed responsibility for proper operation of protective relays, substation switching control devices, metering and telemetering equipment • Knowledge of principles and practices of protective relays, related equipment and the ability to apply this knowledge to specific work problems • Repaired failures of substation breakers, transformers and other equipment
