Daily Duties at Walt Disney Pictures & Television:
Responsible, for all Accounting and Finance functions required to support Buena Vista Film Sales international theatrical, worldwide home video and domestic television licensing businesses including: Contract Administration; Preparation and presentation of business analyses to upper management; Analysis and approval of sales; Accounts Receivable and Collection functions; General Ledger and Financial Statement, Financial Models, Budget, 5-year plan and forecast. Work closely with Credit & Collections on cashing various treasury instruments. Work with outside producers on all accounting, finance and administration issues (e.g., responsible for interpretation of contracts to ensure terms followed and communicated to applicable BVFS management). Responsible for day-to-day operation, current and future development of the Accounting Systems and Product Rights Tracking System. Integrated four new businesses (ESPN, DIC Animation, ABC Home Video and ABC Distribution) into the Disney Business units’ Financial Systems and Product Rights systems. Stakeholder in SAP conversion.
