My role was to lead the organization through a structural and program change to include the Small Learning Community concept which focused on career pathways. My chief responsibilities were to overhaul the master schedule, recruit and recommend highly qualified and talented faculty and staff, and assemble a high performing management team of assistant principals. I managed a $2 million budget to ensure money was appropriated to meet campus and district goals and federal and state regulations. My management team and I supervised and managed the curriculum, instruction, and assessment program across all academic disciplines. In addition, we supported and guided high performing teacher-leader teams.
