Daily Duties at Ups:
Responsible for District planning for Key sorting hub with 2 shifts and 250 people, BWI Airport operations including lift capacity, sorting operations and timely air package movement for 2 districts and all large truck movement, equipment balance, scheduling and staffing of drivers. Other areas of responsibility include consolidation and cost cutting of TOFC (“trailer on flat car” rail movements) loads, package flow, staffing, planned process rate, and time study measurement. Consolidation planning for 2 districts hub and large truck planning.
