Daily Duties at Varied Temporary Assignments:
Demonstrates the ability to perform clinical and Administrative tasks Assures effective patient flow within the Health Center, telephone as well as walk-ins Assists providers in procedures, phone calls, referals, problem solving Provides nursing care and health educatio to patients Oversees maintenance of clinical inventory forms Assists the providers with diagnostic procedures and treatment regimens when in need Assesses reports, customer surverys, evaluations and other data to identify and plan the process, technology, personnel and facility needs to deliver care in a designated patient care area Communicates care area purposes and goals to the care team Interviews, hires, disciplines and evaluates patient care staff Monitor selection and use of health center supplies, technology and equipment Achieves successful compliance with regulatory agency standards Assures staff understanding of and compliance with infection mandates Assurers that all health center staff areinformed of medical unit's developments and participates with the patient care area planning and problem solving Conducts/facilitates leadership and nursing meetings, demonstrates ability to achieve meeting outcomes. Maintains records of minutes Assures that the ability of assigned patient care provider is congruent with patient/famity health care needs Assure staff development by providing learning opportunities within and outside the organization Participates in the planning and evaluation of educational programs to meet health center needs and to proomote staff development. Develops, implements and evaluates health center-based orientation program for new employees Primary prevention through immunizations and health fairs Secondary prevention through screening
