Daily Duties at Scott& White Hospital:

Care of Normal newborn, admission, transition and care including education of parents preparing for discharge .Attended high risk deliveries. Occasionally admitted NICU baby and stabilized for transfer to higher acuity hospital. Cared for postpartum mother to include admit, assessment and education of mother regarding self care and care of baby, preparing for and discharging to home. Taught Childbirth Education classes.
