Daily Duties at Brs Inc.:
develops and manufactures of whole aircraft parachute systems. Responsible for the following activities in the engineering department: Supervise the engineering data management process, including CAD integration, Work flow with RFE –Request for Engineering– and ECO –Engineering Change Order–activities such as initial release and change effectivity, part number management, Bills of Materials, quality assurance with strong analytical skills and the classification system. Responsible for hardware and software configuration management in compliance with FAA regulations, industry standards MIL-STD specification, specific contractual requirements, test plans, test cases writing and defect management. Maintains of the engineering database, communications software, making configuration changes and enhancements as necessary, archives and library of hardware and software products, technical manuals, specifications, component data sheets, catalogs and regulatory publications. Develop and maintain Engineering Standard Operating Procedures, train new employees and ensure compliance of procedures by all engineering employees. Coordinate and interface with the FAA for product and system certification projects. Manage departmental workflow in coordination with the Director of Engineering. Implemented a Work Order system to track engineering costs across concurrent projects.
