Daily Duties at Avionica Inc.:

Maintained quality compliance by identifying quality requirements; disseminating standards, policies, and procedures; conducting audits; recommending improvement plans to ISO9001:2008 and AS9100:2009 standards:  Manage all aspects of the quality organization, encompassing planning, budgeting, staffing and leadership; provide primary interface and issue resolution with FAA and foreign regulatory bodies to ensure privileges of the Production Certificate and Repair Station ensuring certificates are maintained at the highest standard of partnership and cooperation; in collaboration with peers, define and implement changes in quality processes and organization, industry standards and regulatory guidance when appropriate; define and implement actions to support new product or process development to include type certification, supplemental type certificate, production certificate, or repair station initiatives.  Developed and implemented a corporate quality system that emphases continuous improvement, flow down of customer’s requirements and complies with a quality standard such as AS9100.  Provided and maintained an FAA approved Fabrication and Inspection System in accordance with 14 CFR Part 21, section 21.303(h).  Responsible for hardware and software in compliance with FAA regulations, industry standards, specific contractual requirements, test plans, test cases writing and defect management. Supervise the Software Configuration Management and Quality Assurance process in compliance with RTCA/DO-178B guidelines.  Coordinated comprehensive procedures for Programmable Logic Devices (PLD) development in compliance with RTCA/DO-254 level D, and E requirements.
