Daily Duties at Glaxo Smith Kline :
I manage eight hospital accounts for the second largest health system in the eastern half of the US--Aurora Health System. Leading a matrix team of five, I educate hospital and C-suite staff on clinical research relevant to my areas of expertise, which include anti-coagulant and respiratory diseases. I educate staff on GSK products and the financial implications of improving treatment protocols. I analyze account data including, market share, market volume, and contract maximization to strategically grow my team's product portfolio. I conduct quarterly business reviews, as well as generating on-going reports on each of the four products I promote. I routinely give presentations to C-suite and hospital staff, as well as conduct speaker events, bringing key thought leaders to speak to my customers. Travel is 25%. Additionally, I am the Regional Change Catalyst appointed by the Regional Director to model new policy and procedures, aid with training, and facilitate swift adoption of requirements by team members. I am also the Regional Integrity Champion, appointed by the Regional Director to field policy questions, train region on changes or additions to policy, and facilitate total compliance by all team members.
