Aeras Work Values

Daily Duties at Aeras:

This was a period of time were a surge of phase I clinical trials for different vaccines candidates primarily Aeras 402 and 404 were starting domestically (Lenexa, Kansas) and globally. I did extensive preparation and traveling to present information at study initiation visits (SIV) at the Walter Reed Research in Kondele/Kambewa Kenya, SATVI in Worcester/Cape Town South Africa, vaccine Research Center/University Tampere Finland and the Karolinska Institute in Huddinge Sweden. I was able to evaluate all site facilities, floor plans, existing equipment, its maintenance, cell isolation, QuantiFeron assays and controlled rate freezing procedures, personnel training needs for study conduct and provide training on those areas the staff was not sufficiently proficient. I also extended the hands-on training to the couriers (Marken) involved in shipping the specimens to the US.
