As Area Manager, my primary responsibility was business capture and development. I served as a top level interface with client and principle project teams. I discovered and developed new business opportunities. I was the executive manager in charge of all projects within my geographic area, which averaged 10. I led our tender development and contract negotiations teams. I developed budgets and conducted VAR and EAC reviews. I supervised and coached our Individual Project Teams (IPT's) I monitored project budgets to insure their integrity. I reviewed project management teams and promoted as appropriate. I hired project managers, scheduling managers and control managers.
