Daily Duties at Bed Bath And Beyond:
Manage sourcing, recruiting, screening, and interviewing of store managers, currently overseeing 2 districts, 21 stores, 125 managers, and 700+ associates. Assist with new store orientations and employee relations, identifying and resolving workplace issues. Ensure development of associates for department and store managers, tracking growth and progress. Monitor each location to ensure compliance of federal and state regulations, including FLSA and EEO. Oversee and investigate employee relations and workers compensation issues. Ensure weekly payroll has been submitted and process compensation increases and adjustments through HRIS. Conduct HR workshops for 100+ managers annually in interviewing, performance management, discipline counseling, sexual harassment, and diversity, partnering with district and store managers on succession planning. Instruct Dynamic Employee Relations to all managers.
