Daily Duties at The Brooklyn Hospital Center:
Reporting to Senior VP and General Counsel, works closely with the Director of Risk Management and VP of Audit/Compliance to complete projects. • Developed tool that resulted in more effective communication during monthly Enterprise Risk Management presentations. • Conducted hospital-wide medical records compliance audit and made recommendations to improve operational performance based on findings. • Significant improvement of operational compliance and education of contract management process which resulted in tracking down over 200 contracts. • Managed risk management functions including training several employees on the incident reporting system, monitored quality control of incident reporting database, and data gathering to identify trends and areas for improvement
