Daily Duties at Ge Security:
Interim Program Manager responsible for and delivered the releases of 2 product versions of FCWnx called Service Packs 2 and 3. Service Pack 2, along with bug fixes, included the development of Failover & Redundancy capabilities at 2 levels to maintain continuity within the FCWnx system: 1. Global configurations included multiple SQL Server databases, each running on their respective server, replicating in a star topology. When client machines no longer communicated with their primary database, they automatically failed over to their designated backup database. 2. Hosted devices such as Access Control Panels and Digital Video Recorders also failed over to their designated backup hosting server when they were unable to communicate with their primary host. Service Pack 3 involved the integration of a new generation of Digital Video Recorder products with FCWnx. As Program Manager, I also served as global engineering leader for 20 engineers in 5 teams spanning 15 time zones.
