Daily Duties at Navy Federal Credit Union:
I was responsible for the on-going security development and support of the PeopleSoft HCM/HRM and Oracle Business applications across the region, countries, and business units. My role was to lead, coordinate, and perform the fuctional task related to the development lifecycle of PeopleSoft projects including requirement definition, analysis, fit/gap resolution, process design, migration, implementation, functional design, application configuration, testing, training and implementation validation. My role included designing the security infrastructure establishing and executing security policies, procedures, and standards while maintaining access to Human Resources systems data. Interfaced with the community to understand their security needs and implementing approved procedures to accommodate the identified need. Ensure understanding and adherence to the necessary procedures to maintain security. Interfaced with and educated all HRIS, IS key business user staff regularly on security processes, policies, procedures and changes to these areas to ensure consistency and compliance. Modify application security objects to incorporate new development, correct errors, or change individual or group access. Develop plans to safeguard HRMS security rights to users in all production and non-production enviroments. Enforce policies to prevent accidental or unauthorized modification, destruction, or disclosure of Human Resourse data. Audit user security set-up and access as well as system account level access. Researched emerging technologies in the industry that align with the business goals. Collaborated with project team, developers, and business units to coordinate project work.
