Daily Duties at Barry University:

Introduced students to the field of social work by engaging students from a strengths based framework; encouraged students to engage in critical thinking where they can openly share their opinions and reflections; and used a multimodal approach to teaching to engage the students. Developed curriculum, course schedule and outline, quizzes and written assignments. Coordinated curriculum congruent field trip with written assignment to maximize learning experience. Invited guest speakers, conducted group sessions, and utilized multi-media approach to engage students. Provided office hours for student support. Maintained blackboard with all schedules, outlines and grades. Communicated grades to BSW program director.
