Directly supervised 3 quality coordinators, assisted with core measures concurrent and closed chart abstractions, performed Mortality chart reviews, reviewed and scored incident/safety reports, chaired the Patient Safety Committee, chaired the Stroke Certification Team, prepared agendas, minutes, and reports for both committees, often ran the daily Quality Department huddle, attended the Quality Council, attended the Pediatrics department meeting, the Maternal/Child department meeting, and the Radiation Safety department meeting, consulted on quality/performance concerns with other department managers, assigned to be the Risk Manager, assigned to be the Stroke Coordinator, initiated a performance improvement team for patient identification, reviewed and assisted revisions of policies and procedures, served on the Policy committee to select and implement a new P&P management program, assisted with biweekly facility safety audits
