Attended senior staff meetings and briefed senior staff members of purchasing departments progression. Held overall responsibility for the purchase of products and services for the company. Approved the best products or services having the lowest prices after reviewing and analyzing all options, which included, price, suppliers abilities, safety record and quality of product or service offered. Negotiated contracts and reported contracted suppliers performance against key performance indicators (KPIs). Tied the contracted suppliers KPIs to the suppliers profit margins.
