Daily Duties at Preferred Sands:
Direct operations at 3 U.S. mines and 1 in Canada. Oversee 37 salary and 208 hourly miners. Command annual operations budget of $14M, with full P&L responsibility for day-to-day operations. Conduct continuous site visits to deliver field training to personnel and ensure compliance with various safety policies and procedures. Work closely with Trempealeau County, WI Office of Land Development and the WIDNR (Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources) to mitigate legacy environmental issues from former mine owner.
