Daily Duties at Con Edison Development:

As the development group had just been formed upon joining Con Edison I had initial assignments involving market identification and appropriate return on investment for risk adjusted cash flows from asset development and acquisitions. Initially the scope involved a global initiative of identification of investment environments. I led efforts to evaluate certain countries for investment and participation in various privatization solicitations. After about a year the conservative Con Ed board wanted to return to its northeastern U.S. market base and I led the development of power generation plants in the region.

What they like about Con Edison Development:

Organizations with strong, centralized leadership are particularly attractive to you. You require a work environment with leadership that aggressively seeks to expand and grow the business and does so in a visible and decisive manner. In general you prefer to work in an environment in which there is a strong link between leadership, its actions, and a strong set of company-wide values.
