Daily Duties at Lincoln Medical And Mental Health Center:

Plan, direct and supervise leadership nursing staff, head nurses, assistant head nurses to ensure the smooth running of the unit in compliance with regulatory standards. Conducts rounds to evaluate practice, quality of patient care and support services. Coordinates staffing to ensure adequate staffing of the unit at all times Supervises the collection and submission of data from the Neonatal unit to the NYSDOH. Ensures compliance with regulatory agencies, i.e.: JCAHO, NYSDOH. Review unit documentation to ensure completeness at all times (admission assessment, Medication administration records educational assessment, and all other charting). Attends AOD meetings bi-weekly to keep abreast of Provide leadership and guidance to Supervisors, Head Nurses, Assistant Head Nurses and Staff. Prticipated in Revenue Enhancements activities. Administrative responsibilities as the Deputy Director of Nursing for the NIS Department Monitors the PS and OTPS budget for Nursing Administration in the amount of $10 million. Attends interdisciplinary team meetings. Prepares purchase requisitions for supplies, materials and equipment for the department. Acts as a resource for nursing personnel
