Daily Duties at Always Your Choice:
Observe and assist PA in care of HIV/AIDS clients. This internship occurred while I was in nursing school. Helped PA establish a therapeutic relationship with HIV/AIDS clients to empower them to take their meds and meet their healthcare goals. Did Vital signs on the clients and did blood glucose tests. Helped the client determine where the best pharmacy was to pick up their meds. Assisted PA doing HIV/AIDS blood tests on some clients uncertain of their status. Assisted PA with pregnancy urine tests, rapid strep testing. blood glucose testing, and dipstick urinalysis.
