Daily Duties at Maxim Staffing Solutions:
As RN provide medical care, medications, and feeding to 20 clients with dementia in skilled nursing unit; in DOH collaborated with 50 HIV/AIDS clients and provided education on treatment adherence and reduce transmission of HIV/AIDS; took blood labs to monitor CD4 and viral load. in ACCESS program monitored the safety and provided medications and blood sugar testing, as well as interact and play games with people with developmental disabilities; in YES Program assessed and provided medical care by assessing, doing vital signs and diagnosing foreign exchange students; Had to place an indwelling urinary cather in one of students for her trip on airplane back home. One student who has severe vaginal bleeding had to send to emergency room to determine if she was hemorraghing before going home. in home training for about 10 parents to inject growth hormones or somavert in their children with too little or too much growth hormore; Provided instruction to 8 clients to set up and use the meter to monitor their INR values by blood testing to assess effectiveness of the coumadin. My goal as RN is to have a therapeutic relationship with client to empower them to meet their healthcare goals.
