Daily Duties at Franklin Mint:

Managed staff of 13 technical representatives supporting mainframe, Windows NT and Unix, maintaining over 160 mainframe software products, 50 Windows NT products, and 20 Unix software products. Prepared and managed Departmental, Hardware and Software budgets. Managed >50 server Windows NT and UNIX server Environments. Managed System Disaster Recovery administration. Managed corporate Data Security environment for Mainframe, Windows NT, and UNIX. Managed corporate printing systems, specializing in Xerox distributed and mainframe printers. Managed MS Exchange environment. Managed Proxy Services. Managed Corporate Virus Protection administration. Project planning, Software/Hardware budget management. Managed Y2K software and infrastructure upgrade project. Managed Storage Administration, including backups. Administered Change Management Managed all mainframe, AS/400, Open Systems(Wintel & Unix) software and hardware upgrades, including PTF’s. Managed system performance and tuning staff Provided monthly statistical reporting for mainframe. Managed vendor relationships including contract negotiations and ongoing status review. Performed staff HR processes, including annual reviews, salary adjustments, hiring and terminations.
