Daily Duties at Crowley Isd:

Oversee and support the implementation of Response to Instruction and Intervention (RTI) which is a systematic, data-driven approach to instruction that benefits every student. Assists in monitoring the core and intervention programs to meet the academic and behavioral needs of students. Assists in coordinating aspects of the District's curriculum/instructional service programs, including technical assistance to administrators and staff as they implement the instructional program. Plan, schedule and help conduct professional development and training necessary to implement the District curriculum and instruction. Provide training for department chairs, literacy coaches, and instructional leadership in monitoring instruction and State Content Standards. Assist in the development of board policies and administrative procedures relating to curriculum and instruction. Assist in data collection, analysis, and reporting to school site personnel, and district administration. Assist in developing evaluation systems required to measure and report progress towards the achievement of district goals and program objectives. Compile statistical data required in planning and implementing the educational program; provide information and analysis to staff on current educational research and requirements relevant to assessment, accountability, and student information. Direct and administer the activities of the standing/ad hoc committees of the district in all areas relating to instruction and curriculum. Assist as a liaison between the district and other educational agencies in the development, coordination, and implementation of new programs for instructional improvement. Assume administrative responsibility for the development, submission, and implementation of state and federal projects and programs. Assist District in balancing student placements in meeting instructional needs. Coordinate state and federal mandated programs. Monitor the implementation, reporting, and accountability of the District’s after school program. Monitor the implementation, reporting, and accountability of any federal or state grants related to curriculum, instruction, or special programs.
