Daily Duties at Sovereign Ban K:
Building from the success of contract negotiations of Telecommunication, I was selected as part of the team to centralize the negotiation, Legal review and contract retention of all Technology based contract. One new person was added to my team to support Software contract negotiations. In addition, I supervised the team in the IT warehouse that was responsible for the inventory of desktop/laptop and mobile devices along with desktop software. To support the centralization of existing agreements, I was also responsible for hiring a team of paralegals on a temporary basis to contact all Technology business units and retrieve and anaylze, existing contract documents. Prior to this time, each business unit within Technology had the autonomy to negotiate and track contracts with their vendors. Daily activities included gaining support from the business units to bring in their contracts, review contracts, begin analysis to combine activites and gain strategies for cost savings, risk reduction and improved services. Supporting teams and improving processes for inventory management, deployment and retrieval and disposal of old equipment. Additionally, we began the process of tracking and auditing the deployment of desktop software licenses.
