Daily Duties at Onsite Wellness:

Managed their wellness and pharmacy business's. Implemented strategies to improve sales, efficient logistical solutions in recruitment, training and delivery models coast to coast. Managed wellness accounts for high clients like Costco, Sanofi Aventis, Safeway stores, Mattel, Blue Cross, AARP and Humana. I was responsible for identifying and hiring medical staff to be assigned for various wellness programs coast to coast. I was instrumental in cutting out the middle men or going through various nursing agencies by recruiting directly from nursing schools and institutions which improved productivity and quality of service. After hiring, i was responsible for planning and execution of training models for various wellness programs we conducted on how to operate sophisticated screening machines, awareness of HIPPA and regulatory obligations and patient counseling. I created an easy training model by which i adopted new technologies to provide training. Earlier the company would train via phone and scripted description to a new hire conducting wellness screenings outside of our local reach. I implemented cost effective training platforms via Skype and creating training videos to demonstrate various wellness screenings to the new hires. That training process tremendously improved the knowledge of our services from the perspective of our hew hired Medical Assistants and quality service from the perspective of our customers. After successful completion of training i created a simple logistical map where the entire delivery process from start to finish can be seen at a glance by the organizer and the Medical Assistant's. For example, the map contained, the estimated arrival time of equipments and list of supplies to conduct a screening, open training and briefing program schedules, program and screening details, map to and from the home to screening location and back. In essence, the model gave all the information a medical assistant needed at a glance instead of sending in clusters and drowning them with overwhelming information. The logistical map at our home office to facilitate the organizer was to reduce cost of operation and improve efficiency by creating a map at a glance. For example, the map contained in excel format and by inputting program details created ship out date of screening equipments by calculating delivery time's and calculating all other natural or emergency obstacles which may hinder in late deliveries of screening equipments to the medical assistant. That helped in reducing cost of shipping to ground delivery instead of 2-3 or next day air shipments. List of supplies to be provided based on each screening requirements and estimated number of people to be screened, process to return screening supplies by simply providing return labels and pickup delivery schedules from the medical assistants home and that resulted in reduction of waste and cost of purchasing supplies, training schedules and a system to schedule them in an efficient manner. This process helped each organizer to consolidate and manage more wellness program's with ease, efficiency and establishing clear communication channels. I was responsible for negotiating screening rates, billing, establishing terms of credit and drawing wellness and vendor contracts to facilitate our wellness and retail pharmacy business's.
