Daily Duties at Liberty Mutual Group :

Report to Director of HRIT and the Director of Enterprise Technical Services. Responsibility #1: for the day to day operations of 25+ HR Admin applications utilized across 10 Corporate Portfolios- including Talent Management and Acquisition, Employee Relations, Procurement, Real Estate, Learning and Development and Executive Secretary/Charitable Foundation, Security, Business Continuity Planning Work Place Services. Partner with IT Contract and Staffing, Business Vice Presidents on RFI, RFP, SOW and Contracts for renewal and new software. Work Closely with Infrastructure managers and teams to build and support environments for applications which includes Lifecycle Management. Work closely with Security and 3rd party vendor to test to insure necessary controls are in place to protect Liberty Mutual data and assets. Provide technical leadership and guidance during incidents and problems with applications in Productions. Provide approval to implement technical changes. Work closely with upstream and downstream systems during upgrades, incidents and yearly penetration testing. Responsible for Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity plans for financially significant applications. Responsible for maintaining SLA's. Responsibility # 2- development of custom HR and IT for IT applications utilizing RAD Frameworks and Agile methodologies. Work closely with Platform as a Service Manager and vendor to insure Performance metrics and environment growth. Responsible for the project deliverable and milestones which include Production Knowledge transfer and documentation. Review and provide input on vendor SOW's architecture blueprints and functional and non functional design. Review and provide approval of charters and implementation plans. Responsible for the budget and resource plan which includes formal change management on scope, schedule and budget impacts. Responsibility #3: General Management- Provide weekly reports to director and CTO on significant incidents and project status. Guide, mentor and coach a team of 12 staff and 10 contractors on project and development processes and practices. Develop performance objectives for resources, Hire and fire as needed. Meet weekly with each team member. Meeting weekly with aligned HR Business Manager to review issues, concerns around timelines and priorities. responsible for quarterly reviews with HR VP's to provide overall status on operations and new development efforts for each of their areas. Responsible for financial management of 2M budget. Includes forecasting resources working closely with IT finance to manage variances. Responsible for establishing development and training plan for resources. Manage travel and expenses for training. Work with It training to organize developer training on Spring, Ruby, Agile, Informatica and Key products such as Ariba, Manhattan Software, CA Clarity PPM, Workforce Software.
