Daily Duties at Pall Corporation:

• Support development and validation of new/existing solutions in support of R&D transfusion medicine projects. • Validate the manufacturing process used in production of solutions and properly document this according to regulatory requirements. • Validate chemical analytical assays used in manufacturing of the solutions and document this according to regulatory requirements. • Conduct chemical analytical assay studies (evaluation/investigation) of materials and products that are required by the department and ensure completion per schedule and according to regulatory requirements. • Provide technical knowledge on chemistry and analytical assays for effective evaluation, validation, practices and operations related to department solution projects. • Support development of new solutions by validation and testing and ensure documentation of these activities according to regulatory requirements. • Testing and evaluation of raw material, development and validation of chemical and analytical methods required for solution projects, manufacturing process validation, product stability program and biocompatibility testing. • Support QA Chemistry department with analytical testing, analytical method transfer and subsequent training for product release testing. • Responsible for sample storage, testing, data management of the product stability program for anticoagulant and additive solutions. • Conduct raw material analysis and select USP / EP test for material analysis/characterization. • Create and maintain standard operating procedures for instruments in the area of operation. • Maintain laboratory area for good organization, housekeeping and cleanliness.
