As a rookie attorney, I joined Krieg DeVault and began my career in the business practice group. As such, I was responsible for preparing and helping to negotiate numerous corporate/transactional documents. I was given primary responsibility for several clients, including a physical therapy practice, a title insurance company, an entrepreneur acquiring property, building a facility and starting a business in a franchise context. I tried and won approximately 100 mental health prosecutions. Finally, I was involved in a major creditors' rights case. I served on the Recruiting Committee, helping to interview and evaluate candidates for attorney positions within the firm.
