Taught basic living skills such as cleaning, cooking, job seeking, education, etc., to help these youth to become productive members of society. Encouraged these youths as needed in the areas of self empowerment, and building their self esteem. Also counseled these youth about the importance of being self-sufficient and independent. Engaged the youths in conflict resolution, appropriately dealing with anger, learning to think about the consequences of their actions before reacting.
