Daily Duties at Christ Hospital:
Worker in the Psychiatric Emergency Room, assessed patient with drug and psychiatric issues after consulting with the Psychiatrist for admission. Also helped to provide services to the homeless population who entered the hospital and had no where to go upon discharge. Connected these homeless people to resources within the community such as churches, shelters, food pantries, etc., that could help them. Also provided resources for the mentally ill and substance abuser upon their discharge. These resources would be within the community, such as drug and alcohol rehabilitation programs for extended services and support.
