Daily Duties at Jansta Consulting :
Performed as On-Site and Remote IT administrator support for multiple clients across various genres of business. • Daily Citrix Metaframe support of Main office and remote environments • Configuration and deployment of Windows based Servers • Configuration and deployment of Windows based Workstations • Configuration and deployment of Peripherals • Installation and regimented updating of Anti-virus and Security applications across the network • Installation and regimented updating of Microsoft applications across the network • Support of MS SQL based database applications • Daily administration of MS Exchange users, structure and databases • Installation and maintenance of backup applications • Enterprise wide backups on Daily, Weekly, Monthly schedule / Restoration testing on weekly basis with the use of Veritas Backup Solutions and bare metal restore. • Perform scheduled maintenance and updates of servers, workstations, laptops and associated hardware / software • Provide both onsite and remote 2nd Level Help Desk support to users • Developed Disaster Recovery methodology for corporate and remote offices • Maintain up to date inventory of all hardware / software / licensing • Update all network and user documentation as needed • Daily / Weekly / Monthly Status reporting to management Research and creation of feasibility reports on the possible implementation of technology
