Daily Duties at Regional Command North Multi Fusion Center:

Member of a multi-national staff, with representatives from 17 nations of NATO International Security Assistance Force (ISAF), was tasked with producing intelligence reports in order to increase understanding of the insurgency and support the commanding officer (German general) of the Regional Command North (RCN), Afghanistan. Developed and presented regional issues weekly report concerning RCN. Liaised with regional analysts as well as ISAF Joint Command (IJC) analysts and various branch heads. Ensured enhanced information sharing with allied partners; oversaw declassified US data made releasable to Coalition members. Worked numerous ad-hoc projects. Wrote several research papers. Later, conducted an in-depth analytical assessment of Afghan National Security Force (ANSF) units for military capability study of ANSF ordered by ISAF commander, GEN Dunford. This is an assessment of ANSF effectiveness, and their ability for independent action based on several categories, as ISAF mission draws to a close. Was tasked with producing assessments of ANSF units. Worked with NATO/ISAF Coalition Partners Advisory Teams to procure information for the assessments. Provided feedback to HUMINT collection effort by evaluating Intelligence Information Reports (IIR), and driving collection effort through Source Directed Requirements (SDR).
