Recruited to develop and grow the direct sales division of KD Specialty Contractors, this market included sales to school districts, general contractors, architects and other commercial end users. This new division required me to create marketing materials, research new products to include and negotiate vendor agreements, attend industry events in an effort to network with clients, participate in professional educational events and exhibit products and services. I completed project bids, from blueprint takeoffs to eventual bid submittal and contract review, participated in job site walks to review projects, inspect future work and respond to issues.
