Daily Duties at St. Joseph's Church:
Financial oversight of all operations, including working with (6) department heads to review and create their annual operating budgets; create actionable physical plant maintenance schedule,working in collaboration with a volunteer professional committee and staff; manage all human resource functions, including conflict resolution, progressive discipline actions, review all (34) employee time sheets for accuracy and compliance with federal and state law; succession planning,including recruiting, interviewing and hiring all new employees; schedule and coordinate (7) direct reports; create and review all financial development activities, including securing sponsors for publications, events and non-budgeted items; serve as public relations manager, responsible for all media contact, development of press releases and marketing efforts; direct efforts of all social media, working with staff assigned to implement same; insure physical plant is in compliance with all local and state agencies, from fire, safety, sewage, etc. ; chief of stewardship efforts for parish, including working with leadership committee, facilitating their efforts; organizational development of all volunteer leaders, policies for volunteer activities and mandated reporter requirements and staff management of strategic plan actions and updates.
