Daily Duties at A.K Petrochemical Co:

 Developing the M.E.D design (Multi Effect Desalination) Using aspen (water, utility…) software, by making positive changes, for optimization in all units (by taking T.D.S amount, present in intake and exit water).  Troubleshoot desalination operational issues and Develop and implement process improvements via D.C.S. which bore the appearance and schematic figure of the set-up and simulates it on a monitor. By inserting important data, such as pressure, temperature and flow characteristic, with proper changes that suited the operation.  Develop Process flow Diagrams and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID) recognizing and reviewing the problems and doing some calculations and created some correction and improvement on PFD.  Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvements that will positively impact cost efficiency by identifying and implement improvements in process conditions or process controls to optimize raw material and utilities usage. Eliminating wasting a great deal of the material by shortening the injection line on this unit.  Develop and implement maintenance and turnaround programs based on analysis of equipment use and operations.  Conduct detailed process equipment inspections and recommend repairs and reliability testing to minimize downtime. Eliminating an excessive clogging of the sea water strainers in desalination units which is cause of frequent shut downs of desalination machines. By re designing injector nozzles in evaporators diameter of the holes in the mesh.  Define, justify and implement process modifications to increase quality, optimize efficiency and lower operating costs.  Perform detailed process material and energy balances for the unit when it’s required.  Correct use of the unit's start-up and shut-down procedures, whenever required, By Preparing data sheets and specifications for equipment procurement related to sediment's residuals and all produced conducts in every unit and finally, conducts from the storage tanks were kept in a special file via excel program. Based on these data’s and sudden changes that occurred in them, I would exert fundamental changes onto the system as well, to ensure satisfactory operation of the unit. Prepared work reports, for the operation and the mechanical repair work that would then be given to the next shift and to the unit's chief.
