• Production of publication-oriented CD-ROMs including: PDFs, hyperlinks, search functions, tutorials, computerized demos • Maintaining vendor contacts for both printed and electronic media, including press checks, blueline checks, purchase orders, and troubleshooting electronic files • Production of publications and promotional materials including: layout programming, database extraction programming, writing macros to convert tags inserted in data, maintaining network structure, publication storage • Support of Data migration from TimeLine to Sybase including: providing programming specifications to automate the typesetting of extracted data into Ventura Publisher, providing specifications for error checking mechanisms to ensure correct data, supplying design specifications for database modules for Web Site to enable online applications and publication requests, writing database documentation for all modules and user instructions • Develop documentation for database users and production staff. • Purchase, install and upgrade all portable notebooks, projectors and cameras for off-site presentations • Technical support for MS Office • Maintaining department budget and initializing payments. • Arranging mailings of publications; ordering mailing lists; contacting mail houses; maintaining postal permits; contacting as needed staff for in-house mailings.
