Daily Duties at Unity Point Trinity Medical Center:
Provide order entry/order verification services for new medication orders. Perform clinical monitoring for amino glycosides, Vancomycin, TPN electrolyte dosing. Screens for drug-drug interactions, medication duplications, inappropriate dosing, etc. Floor stock checking in system which uses Carousel storage unit. Supervises/checks technicians' work--compounding, IV preparations, etc.
