Daily Duties at Nexen Inc:

• Interface with Operations, Maintenance, Safety, Training, and Engineering to ensure that the required elements of the Management of Change Program are in compliance. This position maintains Management of Change Libraries. Ensures all electronically formatted MOC documentation is stored on the Document Management System and aligns with bill of material information in work order system. Work with Process Safety Steering Committee to develop implementation plans to meet MOC Program Standards. Ensure all changes to processes are controlled through Management Of Change and Pre-Startup Safety Review procedures; adequate front end engineering is performed for all proposed changes; potentially catastrophic incidents are investigated; and Process Hazard Analysis methodology is appropriate for the complexity of the process change being evaluated. Participate on the Process Safety Steering Committee (PSSC) meetings at each facility. • Communicate critical performance information to management relating to MOC deadlines. Facilitate the flow of MOC information between operations, maintenance, engineering, automation, safety, training, and environmental groups. Also, consult with employees and their representatives on the conduct and development of MOC program elements at each facility. Additionally, ensure that employees and their representatives have access to information required under the MOC Program elements. • Develop schedules for MOC audits, operator training, maintenance training, operating procedure certifications, and maintenance procedure certifications for each facility. Conducts Process Hazard Analysis and Risk Ranking as necessary. • Capture documentation for Mechanical Integrity, Quality Assurance, Process Hazard Analysis, Risk Ranking Operating Procedures, Operator and Maintenance Training, Safety Procedures, PSSR, Punch List and Contractors to assure compliance with the Management of Change Program Standards for each facility. • Responsible for conducting audits and inspections. • Review and authorize work permits. • Be vigilant of issues and conditions that can affect our fellow workers. • Report any issues that can impact the environment or the safety of the employees. Key Accountibilities/Experience: For Running Plant following Procedures and documentation are to be prepared • Preliminary Hazard Analysis • Risk Analysis and Risk Ranking ( Based on Risk Matrix) • Pre Start Up Safety Review • Update As Built Red Line Drawing and Store on Live Link system • Maintain KPI • Audits • Compliance of Standards • Training –Production and Maintenance and for all other stake holders ( SAP Training) • Assist for Capex/Opex Budget. • Attend regular meeting for MOC reviewers, Approvers, outstanding MOC, Completion MOC, Progression of MOC • Liaise with Stake holders – Operation and Maintenance Supervisors, Field Facility Engineers, HSE, A & OI, Automation, Steam Chiefs, Project Engineers, Vendors and Contractors • For Engineering Project following phases are outlined : • Owner site rep. Responsible to manage all Project Changes from Change Identification through to Change Impact Assessment and Change Implementation/ Execution. • Put together change orders. Responsible for the development, implementation, continuous improvement, stewardship, and management of the MOC process at the field and operation level. • Receive the identified change ( RFI, FCN, FI, TDR,CCR, CSE) and expedite resolution within the “Change Identification” sub process • Issue the response to the Change document to appropriate contractors and distribute same to CMT departments • Expedite delivery of the Change impact(CSE) from contractors • Coordinate the evaluation of the CSE package between project functions and contractor (as required) • Coordinate resolution of CSE issue • Upon approval of the CSE, issue to Contractor approved CSE for execution and distribute same to CMT departments for implementation • Submit a copy of all approved /reject change documents to CMT Document control for uploading into LiveLink publish section of the project • Manage the change log through all stage of the end to end process • Attend to construction contractor progress review meeting as required • Provide weekly status report of “ Open/Active” changes • Provide monthly statistics on changes. • In running Plant Pre hazard Analysis, Risk Ranking( Matrix), Residual Risk analysis, PSSR, Punch List, Audits and Close contacts with vendor, stakeholders and CMT/ PMT are maintained. Redline drawing documents, IFC,CWP doc are maintained in Live Link for Doc. Controller
