Daily Duties at Csc:

Perform duties as a Senior Data Center Consolidation Analyst for the Army Data Center Consolidation Plan (ADCCP) for the Project Director, Enterprise Services (PD-ES). Responsible for the performance and production of technical analysis taken from each of the Army’s Post, Camps, and Stations via the collection of all server and application data, applying Information Technology (IT) Consolidation principles to develop results and recommendations that will result in the consolidation of all Army Data Centers into one Installation Processing Node at each site. Documented all processes and procedures and assisted in the development of the ADCCP Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) utilizing information technology knowledge base and strong writing skills. Developed the ADCCP RFI (Request for Information) Application Data Collector Tool as a means of collecting all server/host data from each Network Enterprise Center. Lead, supervised and mentored three junior Data Analysts by providing training and guidance in compliance with the goals and standards to drive the project to successful completion. Ensured their work was up to the project’s standards and goals, gave them input on their work and clarified tasks and processes. Provided performance evaluation input to senior leadership Responsible for all Contents and Records Management for all ADCCP Discovery Reports, Briefings, and Project Documentation in the PD-ES SharePoint Portal. Created folders and libraries. Purpose was to utilize such documentation as a collaborative effort with PD-ES leadership and other Program Managers. Methodology utilized includes; • Gap analysis to identify critical missing data elements necessary to make a determination, including; o Server and Disk Utilization Rates o Power Requirements o Network and Bandwidth (size, unit, etc) • Generated Discovery Reports and updated weekly summarizations for the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), leadership and required stakeholders • Conducted presentations incorporating graphical artifacts to accurately display the data in various presentation media based upon the generated project documentation to senior leadership and applicable stakeholders (CIO/G6) • Presented and clarified subject server and application data based on the incorporation of all technical and functional requirements to staff and stakeholders, including the Army’s CIO G6
