Daily Duties at Gala Creative Group International, Ltd., Wunderman Productions:
Develop, plan, market and execute events, meetings, tradeshows and incentive programs. Responsible for all aspects of event management, including site selection/contract negotiation, proposal planning, transportation arrangements, hotel attrition/cancellation negotiation, production of meeting materials and collateral. Meeting registration/database management, and on site management. Manage event budgets ranging from $10,000 to $500,000, while saving clients an average of 35% on Travel and Expenses (T&E). Coordinate multiple domestic and international events ranging from 500 to 60,000 Attendees. Orchestrate a variety of high profile corporate and social, interactive themed events and corporate team building experiences. Managed the launching of international recording artist Taylor Dayne’s career. Managed the comeback of Sly and the Family Stone resulting in their Grammy 2011 appearance and tour. Developed and maintain a large Rolodex of direct contacts with many unique international performers, acts and vendors. Experienced in negotiating Vendor and Venue contracts, arranging and overseeing staffing needs and handling budgets. Excellent communication, leadership and organizational skills. Extensive lighting and production background including special effects operation at the original Studio 54.
